So I made it to Day 3 of the blog project without anything terrible happening yet. Of course, Cara hasn’t seen the blog yet, so that makes it easier. I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Cara has some Irish in her somewhere – can’t you tell from the red hair – but she identifies herself more as Cherokee than Irish. You read that correctly, even though I’m sure that you’re tempted to re-read.

As far as I know, Cara doesn’t have any big St. Patty Day plans this year, although I believe that LAST year, her good friend Jay made her Corned Beef to celebrate. Did you ever wonder what Corned Beef was? I did. I’m going to go look that up now.

I have been trying to convince Cara to start a blog, but she just won’t do it. And I think that there are enough things to write about, and enough people who are interested in knowing what Cara’s up to, that a blog would come in handy. So I’m starting this one (in stealth mode) and am planning to show her once it has enough stuff in it and she’ll let me launch it. That will be the tricky thing because Cara is so shy. I mean, I can understand being shy, but musicians don’t usually have that in their top 5 qualities. So I am taking this leap in hopes that it will benefit YOU ALL, and Cara, of course. Enjoy!
